Abdoulaye Camara- Guinean singer, drummer and dancer participate together with Shango in the line-up for Abdoulaye Camara and Shango. The band play World- Beat music, with influences from reggae, jazzrock to High- Life Music.

Their music have strong elements of improvisation. Camara's african drums and Shango's western style melts together to a result, which is unique in Scandinavia. The electric guitars have a free- jazz form, while a tight bass line keeps it all together. The band give associations to artists as Fela Kuti and Osibisa.

The band members have played and worked together with Mory Kante, Tangle Edge, Burning Spear, Steinar Albrigtsen, King Sunny Ade and Toots & the Maytals.
